HOW FADS FRIEND FINDER WORKS

LEAVE IT RUNNING — WE’VE BUILT IN THE LIMITS

FADS Friend Finder is designed to work alongside your normal Facebook activity. Once you have opened the extension and started your Friend Finder session, leave it running while you work.

The system is deliberately coded to operate only between:

8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

This helps keep Friend Finder activity within sensible daytime hours and supports our quality-over-quantity, anti-spam approach.

Friend Finder is there to help you discover and organise potential connections — not blast people with messages.

Your job is simple:

Find → Review → Connect → Have a Conversation → Follow Up

When Friend Finder identifies someone suitable:

* Review their profile first.

* Decide whether you genuinely want to connect.

* Send the friend request yourself.

* Start a real conversation.

* Use the rotating conversation suggestions when you need inspiration.

* Only introduce FADS when it naturally fits the conversation.

* Add suitable people to FADS CRM so your team can keep track of the relationship.

IMPORTANT

Friend Finder does not automatically send Facebook messages or friend requests.

The 8 AM–8 PM operating window is an additional safeguard, but the most important protection against spam is you — every connection and conversation remains human-reviewed and human-sent.

Prospecting 101

👀 READ THE PERSON BEFORE YOU READ THE PITCH

Great prospecting starts before you send the first message.

When FADS Friend Finder finds someone, don’t immediately think:

“How can I tell this person about FADS?”

Take 30–60 seconds and look at the person behind the profile.

Look at their profile picture. Do they have a warm smile? Do they seem approachable?

Look at their cover photo. What does it tell you about what matters to them — their business, family, faith, community, travel, interests or something they’re proud of?

Read their bio. What do they actually do?

Look at a few recent posts. What are they talking about? What are they excited about? What are they building?

Check your mutual friends and shared groups.

Then ask yourself:

“What do we genuinely have in common?”

Maybe you both love business. Maybe you have several mutual friends. Maybe you’re in the same Facebook group. Maybe you both have children, enjoy travelling, work with your communities, or simply share an interest that gives you a natural reason to say hello.

You’re not trying to decide everything about somebody from their Facebook profile.

You’re simply looking for a human connection point.

💜 Trust Your Human Instinct

Sometimes you’ll look at somebody and think:

“Oh, I like her energy. I could have a conversation with her.”

That matters.

Other times somebody may technically match every keyword but you can’t find a genuine reason to connect.

You don’t have to prospect them.

Friend Finder helps you find people.

The checklist helps you notice people.

But you decide who you want to build a relationship with.

The Golden Question

Before you message someone, ask yourself:

“If FADS didn’t exist, would I still be happy to have a conversation with this person?”

If the answer is yes, you’ve probably found a much more natural place to begin.

Don’t prospect the profile. Meet the person behind it.

Your FADS Prospecting Flow

FIND → READ → NOTICE → FIND COMMON GROUND → CONNECT → LISTEN → BRIDGE → ASK PERMISSION → FOLLOW UP

And remember our team rule:

Read the person before you read the pitch. 💜

👀 Read The Prospect First

Before you send a friend request or message, take 30–60 seconds to look at the person. The goal is not to judge them — it’s to find a genuine reason to connect.

Take a moment to read the person before starting a conversation.
Important: These are conversation clues, not facts about somebody’s personality, trustworthiness or interest in FADS. A photo, cover image or post can help you find common ground — the real conversation tells you who they are.
